LEADER Public Information Events Oct-Nov 2018
Representatives from community groups, tidy towns, voluntary organisations, businesses and individuals throughout County Cavan are invited to attend a public information event to find out more about LEADER funding opportunities, the rates of aid available, the application process and how to apply for LEADER support.

Breffni Integrated LEADER staff will be on hand at each of the information meetings to provide individual guidance on ‘getting started’ with the application process and discuss your potential project ideas. Cavan LEADER LAG is administering the LEADER RDP 2014-2020 in County Cavan for the Department of Rural and Community Development, and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. County Cavan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is operating as the LAG for the County. Breffni Integrated CLG is the implementing partner and Cavan County Council is the lead financial partner.

The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Mr Michael Ring TD, on Friday 20th April, 2018 announced a major investment by the Government to tackle disadvantage in Ireland. The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), which is overseen by the Department of Rural and Community Development, will provide €190 million over five years (2018-2022) to support the most disadvantaged individuals and communities in our society.read more
The play follows the ups and downs of a young woman’s relationship as it goes from being near perfect to becoming an impossible nightmare. The production explores the issue of abusive relationships among young people. It was developed in consultation with the Youth Action NI Safe and Sound Project, NSPCC and pupils at Oakgrove Integrated College in 2012.read more
